The log in takes three credentials. User name, password and system id. All three are case sensitive. Be sure you are using the right case letters. If your user id has been associated with an email address you can try the password reset. This will send a new password to your email whereby you can log in and change the password to your own. If you cannot use the password reset, you will need to contact the admin user of your system. This person is in your office and has security priviledges and can reset your password for you.
There are only two things this could be. Either the tablet cannot get to the server because of a network connection or the system id and password do not match. If the system was working and nobody has changed the configuration, it is most likely the Wifi connection. One simple test is to open the browser on the tablet and try to get to the server (www.medicalcheckin.com). If you cannot, then you know it's the internet connection.
Ok, you just have one more step to go. Go to the kiosk tablet and type 'UPDATE' at the name screen. This will download the new configuration into the tablet. Now test by entering a new entry.
The QR code is individual to your system. You can print the QR code by going into the admin menu and click QR Poster. Now print the poster onto a letter size sheet of paper. Use your cell phone camera to try the QR code. It should take you to a form to check in that shows the questions you have configured. Fill out the form and click Check In. Now check your displays for the entry.
Often the QR Code is posted and customers can scan it using their cell phone. Some customers are a little more tech savvy and may have figured out how to keep a copy of the QR and use it to sign in from a long way away. To prevent this, you can add you GPS coordinates to the Account Information. This will restrict the check in down to 100 yards from yor location. Call us and we will help you get your coordinates and add them.
Yes. In the configuration, you can check the box to ask date of birth. Remember to type 'UPDATE' on the kiosk to download the latest configuration.
Click on the 'Renew Subscription' button on the main menu. In that screen there is a button to show your invoice. You can print the invoice and mail a check.
The easiest way to renew is to use the 'renew Subscription' button on the main menu. This will aloow you to use a credit card to either renew for one month or one year. It doesn't matter when as the system will just add the time to your existing subscription. You will not loose any of your subscription. If you need an invoice, you can use that button to print an invoice and pay by check.
To add text messages, go to your Account Settings in the Admin Menu. In there you will see a button to add SMS messge credits using a credit card. Once paid, they wil immediately be available.
You will need edit privledges to fix this. If you click on the name, you can edit the entry. There is a 'Clear Ack' button that will remove the acknowledgement date/time and return the entry to the display.
You will need edit privledges to fix this. Go to the Daily Report. If you click on the name, you can edit the entry. There is a 'Clear Ack' button that will remove the acknowledgement and checkout date/time and return the entry to the display.
Check In Systems software does not integrate with other software. It is as a simple queuing system designed to run side-by-side with EMR and other software. Our intent is to get the patients in the office and let the staff know the reason for the visit.
Integration would mean that the system was designed to take demographics or additional information. We prefer to separate the check in process from the data acquisition which takes time and slows the sign in process significantly. This means you will need multiple kiosks to accommodate the longer sign in time and a larger lobby to accommodate the additional hardware. The only kiosk that would integrate would be a system written by the EMR company themselves due to cost.We have designed a special 'sidebar' display to run alongside of EMR software, so you can have both on screen at the same time. If you absolutely need integration, you will need to contact your EMR software or consider using the patient portal in your lobby.
